Když se používá traffic shaping používá se na MAC adresu nebo na IP adresu? Nebo na obě zároveň?

Question Omezovani Příspěvek č. 3 

Ahoj,
mozna to sem nepatri, ale potreboval bych omezovat rychlost urcitym lidem v siti, mam Linux Slack, 2 sitovky (eth0 a eth1) eth0 je do LAN. Aby to bylo pokud mozno jednoduche, neprodluzovalo to PING jo a jeste na tom Linuxu je SAMBA, tak aby to tem lidem tu SAMBU nebrzdilo.

Diky, kvuli tomuhle mam jednu takovou Bandwidth krabicku, ale pri 45-ti lidech uz to zacalo byt neunosne, ten CPU uvnitr bezi jen na 8MHz.

Jinak PC je Celeron 400/128Ram a realtec 10/100 standart.

Poradte nekdo kdo ma dobrou zkusenost, co za soft nebo nastaveni linuxu pouzit.
